About the West Virginia Fire Expo
Our Mission
The WV Fire Expo exists to connect the fire service with the companies, equipment, and innovations that support it. Our mission is to provide an affordable, accessible event where vendors can build relationships with fire departments throughout West Virginia and the surrounding region, while giving firefighters the opportunity to discover new products, explore equipment, exchange ideas, and make informed purchasing decisions.
By bringing the fire service industry to West Virginia, we aim to provide opportunities for departments that may not have the resources to attend larger, distant trade shows.
Why We Started the Expo
Many West Virginia fire departments don't have the budget or the time to send members to large trade shows hundreds of miles away. The WV Fire Expo brings the vendors, equipment and ideas closer to home, so departments can see what's available, ask questions and plan purchases without the long trip.
Our Story
The first WV Fire Expo was held June 19–21, 2026, in Summersville. Building on what we learned that first year, the Second Annual Expo returns June 25–27, 2027, at the Summersville Arena & Conference Center, with a stronger focus on vendor exhibits and live equipment demonstrations.
